PCS Marine performs Condition and Value Surveys on pleasure crafts and yachts to provide owners with the information needed to justify or determine the fair market value of the vessel for financing and/or insurance purposes - or if you just want to be certain that you are getting what you are paying for when purchasing a craft.

PCS Marine Surveyors are Certified Master Marine Surveyors, Accredited by NAVTECH and members in good standing with the United States Surveyors Association, having strong marine technical background and extensive experience in the discipline of Materials, Corrosion, Welding, Non-Destructive Testing, Quality Programs and the application of International, National and Regional Marine Rules, Regulations and Standards as applied to commercial ships and pleasure craft, fully able and equipped to professionally survey any vessel type, any size, any age, constructed of any material type...

Condition and Value Surveys have two primary purposes:

  1. To identify the vessel, its equipment, condition and general value.

  2. To identify defects, damages or hazardous conditions that could pose a potential threat to the safety of the vessel and its passengers.

  1. Remote Inspection Cameras to view those hard to reach places.

  2. Infrared Thermal Imaging Cameras for advanced structural, mechanical and electrical inspections.

  3. State of the Art Ultrasonic Test Instruments that will accurately measure metal thickness through paint.

  4. Digital Photography so as to supplement our secured Acrobat Reader reports with embedded digital movie/voice over explanations.
